I'm sorry about this, but I'm going to be boring(so what's new)

Went to see the Jambos on Saturday. They were playing Dunfermline who were, it has to be admitted, pish. No more pish than Millwall, Sheff. Wed et al.the difference being that Hearts just demolished them in 25 minutes and then conserved their energies for the big games to come, nipping in with a 4th goal near the end to remind us they were bored but not asleep.

What I saw were m/f players passing it around, to each other, to the overlapping full backs and to the wings. The RESERVE defensive midfielder was absolutely brilliant and although the anchor man, spent most of his time setting up attacks and winning the ball. He took over from Hartley, the ttacking midfielder (now he HAS got an engine, but he uses it to frighten the s**t out of the opposition not the home fans) when he went off and nobody noticed the difference. Bruno Aguiiar his name is, and he's only on loan until the end of the season, so get in Worthy. (What AM I talking about, he'd never get a game here.)

The other talking point for me was the performance of Craig Gordon, the keeper. He didn't have much to do, but I think he had maybe 2 punts up the park, aimed at the tallest player, and the rest of the time was about throwing, rolling or passing it out to players in position waiting to give it to someone ready to damage the opposition. Funny business. I'm still trying to understand it.

So, to read Carl Robinson today is to have a serious attack of the depressions, because we won't get to where we want to be with Mr anonymous in mid field I can tell you.

Never mind, Worthy's the boy for us.
