Do remember now, actually. He'd had *three years* out with an injury he got playing for Scotland. And then knacked the same knee when he came back to Celtic.

Can remember the vibe around him now - had quality, but was plainly a massive punt when it came to staying fit. And indeed he did the knee again, and retired at 26.

Good luck to him, anyway. Must be a resilient bloke to be still in the game at all.
