Ok.. I have something that looks a bit like that..

..when I got my comp, the guy gave me this USB thing that has 4 ports (DC 7.5v 2.1A). It's in a little case & I've never been sure what it's for! Sorry for being thick, but do I connect this up to the comp somehow, will it help?? :os
