We have the same problem

obviously with our dog not yours that would be a bit weird.

Anyway, the only way in which we can get him to take the worming pill is to put it in a piece of cheese and yes he eats the cheese and spits the tablet out but before he can do so, I hold his muzzle shut and up in the air and stroke his throat eventually he concedes defeat and swallows the tablet. tough love but it works.

not sure what the f**k goes on in the heads of the tablet manufacturers but they make the tablets into actual cartoon bone shapes thinking "this will fool the dog"
