depends on how you look at it i guess

pre covid i used to get my haircut at home by a hairdressing pal of my wife who had to stop (obvs) so I found a solution that worked. bit of a stress about letting her down as self cutting but my wife tells me that when the lockdown was lifted her friends bookings went through the roof as people just didn't want to go into the city and be in a salon with others.

she has been cute enough to make ends meet during the latest lockdown by upscaling old furniture to pay the bills and now she says she has a really solid customer base when we come out of lockdown.

and on top of this she has been through a marriage breakup as well. covid really sucks.
