Depends on the vaccine awareness and variants

Things will be a world better this summer certainly.

As I said in the other post - we should be using this time to get people to focus on improving ventilation for indoors areas - driving case numbers down so that test and trace can stamp on problematic variants quickly etc. Re-engineering society so that we're not all commuting for hours to sit in crappy office hutches.

I'd say that masks and some degree of social distancing should be a fixture for a couple of years.

Which *doesnt* mean that you can't have gigs and theatre and football crowds etc. It just means that taking some small steps can minimise the risk of this all blowing up again.

There's lots of nifty improvements we can do which will be better than before. Anyone who just wants to go back to exactly the same as before has had a failure of imagination
