Am still pretty convinced that the effect of the variant was horribly compounded by just opening the shops etc for a free for all through December.

Need to focus on improving indoor ventilation everywhere over the next few months (bored of hearing gym owners prattling on about being covid secure, when what they mean is that they have hand gel and wipe stuff down. Getting good airflow has proven to be critical - bleaching all surfaces less so...).

Lots of good news though - particularly if we can be careful (and proactive) through the next few months.
