post match interview on the Pink un. His last question was about Pukki - I wonder if it was from the journalist who wrote the article? Daniel was left speechless with incredulity by the question. I felt watching it that the journalist was someone who had already made up his mind about his view on Pukki and wasn't interested in nuance, he was just going to write it anyway. Farke pointed out
* Teemu is on hot form
*They couldn't control his movements
*The goalkeeper had to make two unbelievable saves against him
*He looked unbelievable sharp in many many pressing situations
*He is in the team at the top of the table with many many goals (Actually it's 15 and 4th in the top scorers list)
* He does a lot of workload for the rest of the team
* He might have scored more today, but even in the season when he won the golden boot, he missed chances. Even Mo Salah misses chances
* He's back to fitness now, earlier in the season he was hampered by this.
For me, there have definitely been times when I've thought the old Teemu would have scored that - but not so much recently. He does look to be in great form at the moment. Also, if I was going to disappointed with anyone's shooting, it would be Mario's. I'd love him to regain some of the poise he had two seasons ago (or even, at the start of this one).
Overall though, what a mean spirited report! I choose to listen to Daniel, not that nasty man.
