My lad's platoon was given their worst ever fitness beasting the other day, culminating in 10 x 400m sprints carrying 20kg.

He pushed himself to the limit and came second. PTI says to him and his mate who'd won "Being a winner costs you two more laps each, off you go". Welcome to the army :)
