I hear what you're saying on the commitment front, but most Championship clubs wouldn't care if he left having got them promoted. It's not like he can leave for a bigger club if he isn't doing well. After all, he's showing his commitment at Ipswich, he'll work every day of his 5 year contract given the chance.
