But there's something weirdly compelling watching them spiral down the drain and making suggestions that are bonkers.

Putting Dyer and Butcher in instead? (shades of Gunn/Adams).

Total delusion around what is needed for the DoF role. Total delusion about how shambolic their infrastructure has gotten.

Plenty of them wallowing in the things that last brought them success forty years ago, seemingly oblivious to the ways in which the game has changed completely.

I've often said that there but for the grace of God, could've been us. But we're owned by people who care and there is a really deep sense of community in our club. If we'd stayed in League one, I guess we might have headed that way - but there almost seems to be a streak of self destruction in all aspects of them now.

Just weird.
