Yeah, I really dont like winter, more the darkness

and gloom rather than the cold and the thought of guaranteed sunshine somewhere on the Med is something that cheers me up.
Like you say, by no means the end of the world if it doesn't happen and a lot have far, far worse to complain about, but I will be really gutted if it doesn't happen. I'm preparing myself for it - just think there'll be too many uncertainties and can't risk losing the money.
