Numerous global strains are seeing troubling mutations

Critically, they are seeing the same mutation - labelled E484K. This is waaaay better than the different strains having different, troubling mutations. Excellent news in a way. Once the vaccine is tweaked to deal with E484K, we can hopefully start getting this under control.

Bad summer ahead from a sociological perspective (will you abide by rules imposed to prevent people who have rejected vaccination from dying?) but I think deaths dropping very markedly from now on.
