I live relatively close to Brentford and can confirm. After a poor start

It kept (naggingly) going and going and looking certain to lay with a record amount of snowfall, have the biggest snowmen, most snowballs, longest icicles etc etc. Everyone wished they had its secret weapon Ivan SnowToney. However, as with all snowfall the closer it got to sealing its record it had a little wobble, some surprising results and SnowToney melted away which allowed the early snowfall (seasons leaders) back in.
