No. He feels slightly cheated.

On a separate note, one of our main suppliers is a UK based design house with production facilities in Europe. A lot of their fabrics are sourced from Turkey, and other components shipped from the Far East. Before the final product can be exported each item requires a certificate of Country of Origin. As yet nobody knows how to acquire one, the result being thousands of containers and trucks stuck at ports, and EU manufacturers looking to sell into markets less problematic than the UK. We had a 10% price hike in December and another one today. Normally I would be deliberating over how much of this rise I could absorb and how much I can pass on to the customer. Right now I doesn't matter as we don't really have any as we're legally bound to close the shop.

Our financial year end is 30th March, at that point we will have been closed for 8 out of the 12 months of the year.
