it's a complicated topic for sure

back at the start of this (dunno maybe around last May?) i heard a black professor saying that BAME people seemed to be more susceptible to contracting the virus and that they should take added precautions and also they were more likely to be in person to person contact jobs like the healthcare industry, public transport etc and i was midboggled at that because my immediate thought was why not offer BAME workers the option of taking furlough on full pay then we all could metaphorically drop to our knees and say black lives matter and not just leave it up to the footballers to make a token gesture.

like i say it is a complicated topic and there is a whole list of reasons why BAME community mistrust the govt and the healthcare system (clinical trials for new medicines are predominantly focussed on the white community in the uk) however, it is not a topic that could possibly be discussed on here successfully as all sorts of crazies will wade in and nobody wants that. well, not everybody.
