This has been said many times before, but that simply isn't true

negro/negrito is exceedingly commonly used throughout Uruguay and Latin America as equivalent to "mate". My partner refers to me as negrito and when I was going out with a Uruguayan she did too. I'm not black

This was demonstrated just recently by Cavani doing exactly the same thing. The idea that Suarez is racist would be laughable if it wasn't such a slur.
