I think you have to look much deeper at the data.

If we look at the age range 0-49 years old it accounts for around 2% of total deaths.
But how many of those had serious pre-existing conditions?
Even those with serious pre-existing conditions, 30 and under don't seem under serious threat as the death rate is miniscule compared to the contraction rate.
As we vaccinate the most vulnerable I do expect the death rate to exponentially decrease even though the rate of contraction will stay high.
