Swansea Brentford desired result

Conventional wisdom has a draw as the best result, but this is what would happen.
Assumes Brentford win their remaining game in hand.
It also ignores Watford for now.

Swansea win:
They’re four points behind, same games
Brentford can get to within six with their remaining game in hand

Brentford win:
They can get to within the three points with game in hand
Swansea six behind us

Draw:
Swansea five behind
Brentford can get to within five

So with a draw the gap to third could be five points. But a win for either and the gap to third is six. That’s better isn’t it?
