Dowell wouldn't be a replacement for buendia (not sure there could be) - is a longer term option for the Stiepy /vrancic role (a newer maddison)

The development of our midfield will be along those lines. In the same way we didn't replace maddison, we'll look to evolve the midfield mix when Emi moves on. (would be surprised if we lost Cantwell too...)
