People with a positive Covid test would then have to go thru an income and asset means test before you give them any compensation for isolating?

That takes weeks. Longer than we need then to isolate for. But people isolating is *the crucial thing* in reopening society. So compensating anyone who’s positive may well be the very best thing we can spend money on.
