We have a pair of Buzzards nesting across a field from us, frequently

hunting and mewing over our garden and meadow. Never seen them eat a pigeon though, usually voles and rabbits. we have a local Sparrow Hawk that mullers pigeons. Worked his way through 8 of our neighbours white doves over a couple of years causing him to put the last one in his aviary and curtail it's flying around
