i'd think it would result in a decrease

people, particularly the more vulnerable, will be less likely to venture to places where they mix with other human beings. this is purely a theory based upon absolutely f**k all but i am sticking by it resolutely mainly because i hope dearly that it is true and that in 10 days time we will see a massive cliff drop in numbers of cases and deaths because that, that would be good.
