I take comfort that despite the levels of toxicity, Twitter is not representative of humanity although it can feel like it is. I’m a believer in the basic decency of folk and that we’ll eventually outgrow it. Check out Humankind by Rutger Bregman (I think) for a polar opposite take on people than what Twitter and Facebook can often present.
