The rules were UK wide, I believe.
Not that anyone I know mingled that much. I saw my nanny for an hour on Christmas Day, but other than that I didn't see anyone else indoors and haven't done for yonks. That's not to say that some people didn't have a big old party; I'm sure plenty did as they were allowed to on the 25th itself...
