There's no Cypriot takeaways anywhere near round here in Glos. All turkish it seems.
My brother once brought a tray of them up from a Cypriot butchers in north london - they were nice, but not as nice. Or maybe they were but in reality could never compete with happy childhood memories.
Haha! I tumbled into one of them storm drains on my bike once.

Us kids use to also lie in the road as a huge HGV full of winter logs for people's fires drove slowly along over us.
Fuckin madness, we were only 5 or 6 years old and the cypriot driver would have clearly seen us all lined up in the middle of the road ahead of him 😂
