Smokers and fatties contribute plenty through taxes on cigs and food

and I don't know about fatties but, economically, because lung cancer tends to kill you quite fast meaning you never get any pension or the usual illnesses of old age which tend to drag on rather, it's actually of economic benefit to the country that people smoke.
