How long before Krul needs replacing?
Do long stints out on loan do enough to develop a GK's character? (see Matthews)

Having a 3rd choice GK who never plays is seen as a waste (Kean, Nelson, Nash) but there is always the spectre of Marshall 1994/5 looming in the background.
