A little late for me, had it over Christmas

On the point of relocating, we had a company meeting today where survey said 40% don't want any return to the office. I was surprised it was that high but I wonder whether there will be a large scale shift to remote working in a post covid World? As much as I'm happy in London, it would definitely open up options for relocating and being more flexible with where we can live and work.
