Imagine being a Lg 1 player on £5k a week at a decent sized club. You get to the end of your contract, can't get a Champ move, and end up being offered £1,700 on a new deal.

Brexit stops you from playing in a European league, so you've got no choice but take it. First world problems etc, but still.
