River carp

Are a completely different fish to the stuff you find in commercials, as I discovered.
This thing was lean, muscular, shaped like a torpedo, and absolutely pristeen. Lovely colours.
Fought like an absolute bastard.

Yeah, mirrors are the other. I did have a big mirror from a private natural lake but didn't have any scales on me. Reckon it was 25+. I later found out that the lake had been unofficially 'stocked' several times over the years so can't really count it as a proper wild fish. It was a beauty though.
