I think we've been focusing on improving long shooting

instead of crossing, as our 'plan B' to break down solid defences.

And it's worked quite well in recent weeks, scoring loads more goals from outside the box than usual. Even yesterday, we must have had around ten shots from 20-30 yards out; when in the past we would have tried most of the time to walk the ball into the net instead.

Crossing does seem a bit of a waste of time with this team. Even when Quintilla was putting in great deliveries all the time earlier in the season, we only very rarely managed to get on the end of them.
