It used to be much worse

I am constantly struck by the level of vitriol slung the way of the boy Worthy and of players who don't quite cut it. My youthful angst around NCFC was played out against the backdrop of Mr R Chase, when we really were up s**t creek, without a paddle. Yet for much of his reign we were a very well established top flight side. But it was much worse then. We were bloody excellent despite our set up. Shit crowds, arsehole chairman etc. Now we are struggling to be a top six second flight side but we nearly double the average attendance of 15 years ago and if we had the capacity I bet we would. Our board are bloody great. Our manager is one who most other clubs would love to have - incredibly - despite a good sized minority view of our fans. Most things are right at our club. Support the team. Roar us on to success. Don't get dazzled by the big club status we can suddenly and for the first time in our history genuinely claim. Fuck everyone else. Worthy is our manager. It's gonna stay that way. Accept it. Support our team. We're Norwich and at last we're bigger than anyone else in our league. Fuck Leeds, Fuck Leicester, Fuck Ipswich, FUCK ANYONE ELSE WHO THINKS THEY'RE BIGGER THAN NORWICH WE ARE AS ONE and we're gonna f**king do it next year!!!!!!!!
