Frost:Barnier negotiations were looking like no deal

Last few days no movement. No deal most likely outcome. Boris wanted to deal with EU heads but was initially rebuffed. For years, the EU has said it is that Barnier that leads negotiations.

Leyen has seemingly decided she needed to sideline Barnier and work directly with BoJo. No deal could not be tolerated. It seems now concessions from both sides.

Anyway, politics thread. Sorry for not ignoring.
