and have had the best year they have ever had.
I'm guessing next year will be pretty good too!
Even at the worst of times there are opportunities for those actively looking.

Yes there are many things in life we have no control over but there are also many things we do.
The most successful people I know tend to concentrate on those.

As an example there are quite a few people earning a fortune from youtube channels. Many more earning a very nice living.
You already have excellent skills in this area.
You have a great mixture of technical skills and you have a great "on air" personality.
Yes, you are funny. Ignore the haterz. You are funny.

Research into what areas get the best ad revenue (hint: finance/credit cards/loans). Look at what other popular channels are doing ect ect ect.
Look at all the techniques they use to build popular channels.
