Plenty of older people are capable of anxiety and concern for others, I think. Plus many will have children whose education has been massively disrupted, whose jobs have gone, whose futures are more uncertain than they seemed before.

I shouldn't be taking this thread seriously, I know, but calling people snowflakes is not what we need right now, I don't think.
