It'll never work because there's too many self opinionated rentagobs out there completely unwilling to have a grown up discussion when there are perfectly reasonable differences of opinion.

The default position with too many people in life these days is to shout 'Racist' 'Nazi' or 'Troll' or whatever the latest sleight is, safe in the knowledge that it effectively shuts the argument down and they can toddle off feeling smug and righteous about themselves.
