On that point, I always thought the 3 relegated teams

would be pushing for the promotion places this season - even more so than usual squad strength and depth was going to be crucial this term.
It would be lovely obviously if we can beat Watford on Boxing Day for our own 3 points but also to hopefully push them a bit further away from the automatic places.

It may make their board think twice before spunking a load of money in the window as I assume they still have a lot of hefty earners on the books. It may also give some comfort to our Board in turning down offers the bigger cushion we have from third spot.
