I don't buy all this bollocks that he can't be arsed. It's never been his role to defend and it's only now we're playing with four strikers that people are expecting him to do more defensively. The reason he isn't scoring as many is probably because other premiership managers have highlighted him as our makor threat, as a result, him merely being on the pitch occupies the opposition and frees up space for the likes of mackenzie who is making the most of it. He's far and away our best central midfielder and i'm sure this lazyness thisng is a myth (do you think worthy would stand for it otherwise?)
