It is a very different season to most

The number of games being crammed into a much shorter period than is usually the case is, in my view, clouding teams' true levels. We are lucky to have a big squad with lots of options, I think there has been some planning in that respect for such a hectic schedule.

We don't necessarily have some of the attributes we had last time in the championship but that doesn't make us a worse side, or for that matter a better one. The first half of this season has been all about grinding out results rather than blowing teams away, which I think we could still do if we wanted to.

If we go up, everything changes, as it always would anyway, we will always be up against it in the Premier League.
