...it was pretty good in the world cup but the way it has been applied since isn't great.

I think cricket has a good system, basically making a decision on the field, allowing appeals but limiting them and tight calls stay with the on field decision.

But some people in cricket don't like the fact that the same dismissal can be in and out depending on what on field decision was made.

On balance it works tho.

If we use Pukki vs Spurs as an example, it was onside in play. It would stand unless Spurs appeal. It would then be close enough to revert to on field decision and Spurs keep their appeal.

Allow one lost appeal per half per team.

I don't really see how the game is improved by having a pk retaken for the keeper being 4mm off his line tho...
