Pfizer / BioNtech. Pfizer have invested in BioNtech for years. Supported development of the technology. BioNtech is based in Germany but it is American owned to the extent that it is listed on the NASDAQ rather than DAX.

Moderna. Funded pretty much entirely by Trump's operation warp speed.

AstraZeneca. AZ were developing a vaccine for MERS. Had been in development for a few years when COVID popped up. Trumpy McTrumpface gave AZ over a Billion dollars to recode the MERS vaccine to the COVID glycoprotein and run the phase I-III trials.

The AZ vaccine that will be used for the majority of the global population due to price, storage and ability to produce 1+ billion doses p.a.

Sanofi / GSK funded by Trump Warp Speed. $2 Billion

Janssen is funded by Johnson & Johnson and warp speed.

Novavax. Warp speed. $1.6 Billion US funding

The country that has done the most is clearly the US so no need to get pissy about UK / EU / brexit.

How about look at this as a positive for international cooperation?

AZ, US, UK, Sweden, Belgium
Sanofi - US, France, UK
Janssen - Belgium, US

We have multiple vaccine candidates because of the international collaboration rather than the 'I am better then you nonsense'.
