And its interesting becaused with less crowd noise you really pick up on some of the interactions between the players.
But anyway mid second half, Emi was losing the plot, committing stupid fouls and generally looking like he might do a Stoke and get sent off. Both my mate and I remarked that one of the senior players needed to take him aside and have a quiet word to tell him to calm down and not go in for any more silly tackles but nobody did and for about 10/15 minutes he was charging around like a lunatic and you worried he was going to get sent off any minute.
I think we, as a team, have a bit of an issue with giving away silly free kicks full stop which Farke needs to address but Emi in particularly clearly needs managing in these situations. I was a little disappointed that Hanley or Zimmerman (or perhaps Pukki) didn;t just put an arm around him and tell him he needed to calm down. Farke says we have an excellent spirit in the side and I can see that through the results and the resiliance but there is still a lack of composure out there at times (last 5 minutes were another example) and we don;t seem to have many "talkers" on the pitch.
Anyway not a major thing but something I found a little surprising.
