Yawn...

Same old argument.

"..cats kill birds..." His point being?

Birds kill insects. Insects pollinate plants, is he going to insist that all birds are culled in order to stop thie reckless slaughter of the very creatures that help the process of Spring along?

That argument is as ridiculous as his.

He needs to take a good, long look at the very nature of, well=nature! And remember that cats are not, and will never be, "domesticated", but are animals that choose to spend time with human beings but not at the expense of their own nature or behaviour.

What does he want, some plastic and artificial eco-wonderland where all the animals are having a cosy tea party together?

Might he prefer to get more worked up about the daily slaughter of pheasants every day by legions of guns, the old excuse being that they are "food" laid to waste by the fact that all estates that have pheasant shoots have secrret little places where the dead and rotting corpses of thousands of birds are left, safely out of harms way?

Or does he just have a thing about cats and the people who keep them, its the latter.
