& it really is time to abandon the taking of knees in favour of something else, in this country anyway. It's causing entirely unnecessary distraction. Make the message one that is unambiguous, and leave no scope for argument. There are plenty of people who have publicly disclaimed BLM - the various Sky commentator e.g.- clearly not for reasons of racism. This is a pointless argument, that helps nobody- and very possibly makes things worse for some.
