Press news in...

Norwich City head coach Daniel Farke addresses the media ahead of Norwich City's match at home to Coventry City. Press conference is due to start at 1.45pm.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

DF: The last game we had to play without many players. I can confirm that none of these players will make it for tomorrow. The only one who can make it is Lukas Rupp. Tim Krul has had a scan on his thigh injury and he will be out for three weeks. It is not good news because we have to play without the best goalkeeper in the league.

DF: Some good news with Marco Stiepermann because it not concussion and he is available. However, we have to play without Emi Buendia, with the red card, and Teemu Pukki with a hamstring straing. It is a minor strain but he could also miss the midweek game against Luton.

DF: It is a concern. It doesn't matter if I start to cry though. If it was easy everyone could do the job. It is difficult because we are without the number one keeper in the league and without a recognised striker. It is fair to say that expectations can't be too high. We have to grind out results. That is our topic. It was our topic at the start of the season and it is now and then Teemu Pukki can return, Tim Krul can return. You can't feel sorry for yourself, you have to stick together and grind out some results.

DF: Josip Drmic is not an option. He would need to self-isolate and then he would need to train with the team. So it might be an option if we are still in trouble in two or three weeks, but we hope that Jordan and Teemu will return soon.

DF: It is quite normal that each and every player is slightly different. We play slightly different when Placheta is playing on the left-wing and not Todd Cantwell. It is the same with the goalkeepers. It is difficult, but I totally trust Micky (Michael McGovern). He is always working hard on the training pitch. Never ill, never injured and even when he is not playing he knows everything about the opposition attackers and helping with Tim Krul. In saving on the goalline he is outstanding. We are all pretty sure he will deliver with a top performance.

DF: He (Alex Tettey) is fantastic. I got the feeling that after the game he was solid and reliable, but having watched it back I have to rate his performance even higher but his positioning was fantastic. He is always working hard in traning. His performance against Stoke was outstanding and he had a good partnership with Oliver Skipp. He is one of our main men, because in this game when I needed him most, he was outstanding. It is so good to have such a player in your hand to play.

DF: After the two difficult games away, people were expecting maybe one point and to travel back with six points and having a home game you can maybe take a breath. However, with all the injuries we have there is no need to guard against complacency. Coventry City have also recently beat Cardiff City with a clean sheet. It says a lot about the size of our task, but we have to stick together and we won't let our demands and standards drop. We are greedy to win all the points because we are in a perfect position in the table and we want to protect this.

DF: We have Dickson Peters with us in the squad against Stoke and he has a good chance to be in the squad tomorrow. It is difficult to talk about youth team players who have not trained with us. Tyrese (Omotoye) is another option. So we have some young interesting options, but it is for the mid term and long term options. I don't want to put too much pressure on these players now.

DF: To play without the best striker, best keeper and the most creative winger in the league is difficult but it is still possible to win. You can just concentrate on what you can influence. I trust my whole lads and you need each and every player during a whole season and these lads have to shine tomorrow and I am hopeful that they can do that. I back my players and I trust them.

DF: It is an option (Marco Stiepermann up front), but it is like Josh (Martin) and Placheta. It leaves us problems elsewhere. I am tempted to play as many players in their best positions. It is tricky at the moment, but we will need to go for one option and hope that it is the right one.

DF: Football is a game for supporters and now it is great news that we are allowed to get supporters back into the stadium. The people have been working hard behind the scenes to make sure all the proper protocols are safe. They will feel safe and it will be a great boost for us. We play for our supporters.

DF: I am struggling to label it as good news that he (Tim Krul) is out for just three weeks, but when you saw him going off the pitch at Stoke City it looked more of a bad situation and it is good luck in a bad sitaution that he is only out of three weeks.

DF: Yes, it is tricky to have your three main strikers out and the biggest prospect in our youth academy Tyrese was not in the training process. That is the reality at the moment. We have to find some creative solutions for this one or two games and then hopefully Teemu (Pukki) will be back and Jordan (Hugill) won't be out for too long.
