generous, gregarious and highly personable? Just look at the way he comported himself in nearly every contact with the press despite the unbearable media attention.

I would've expected you to rise above a bit of cheating on the part of an exceptionally competitive man 35 years ago, just four years after the Falklands.

So I'll continue to shake my head at what I see as very very sad bitterness
