Hit two deer in my time, and a few near misses...

Early 90s, one ran into side of my car, caved in the rear door... deer got up and ran off.

2019, just near home, one ran out and I hit him straight on! I went to look and it was laying on the side of the road. I went back to phone the police and when I looked again, he'd got up and ran off. I was sure it was brown bread!

When I used to drive over Ashdown Forest every day (Winnie the Pooh) you'd always see them.
