I remain staggered our defensive record is as good as it is

Again all our defenders are individually good players. Yet every time we play someone vaguely decent we have at least two or three utterly shambolic moments in games where you think how on earth did they not score there. Mostly flowing from our own mistakes or being dispossessed in our own half.
