100%. For me the vaccines have shifted the calculus.

If we were in a world where all the viruses were failing, then we would be staring down the barrel of a never ending series of waves over years ahead. In that context, we should work out how to ensure the wave minimums land when we most want to be together.

Now its different isnt it. This time next year, we'll be a good way through the roll out of a highly effective set of vaccines and a proper return to really normal life. Let's not put a load of people at risk unnecessarily over the course of the winter and spring when in a few months time we can all see each other again like we used to.
